YOFC Sichuan, put into operation in 1993, is a joint venture invested by YOFC and Chuantou Energy. Situated in Emei, Sichuan province. Covering an area of over 90,000 square meters, the hi-tech company engages in production and sales of various kinds of indoor and outdoor communication optical cables, with an annual production capacity of over 8 million kilometers of optical cables. Its controlling shareholder YOFC is China’s most comprehensive, advanced and largest scale of optical fibre and cable production base and R&D center. Its another shareholder Chuantou Energy (stock code: 600674) is the only listed company under the Sichuan Provincial Investment Group (SCIG), which is the largest provincial-level state-owned investment holding group in terms of asset volume and plays an important role in continuous and rapid development of Sichuan’s economy.

YOFC Sichuan owns modern facilities and adopts world-leading optical fibre and cable production technologies as well as modernized quality management model. All of the company’s products meet international ITU-T and IEC requirements and has achieved ISO9001:2008 quality management certificate and ISO141001:2004 environmental management system certificate. Its products have also gained licence from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Grid, the State Administration of Radio and Television, the Telecom Department of China PLA General Political Department, and the China National Petroleum Corporation as well as safety certificates of mining products. It has achieved 19 national patents. It is recognized for its “famous-branded products” in Sichuan province for 11 consecutive year and has been honored as national high-tech company, Sichuan innovative company, Sichuan trusted company as well as high-growing electronic and information technology company. The company’s technology center is regarded as a provincial-level corporate technology center.

By 2014, the company’s optical cables has been widely recognized in most provinces and autonomous regions in China through companies and institutes like China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom.
